19th century gents silk brocade waistcoat
This 19th century silk brocade waistcoat is in what I believe to be original condition. The ground is brown with a tree of life design and magenta flowers which appear to have been rubbed away where the jacket has touched the wearer's jacket. The roll back collar is curved and the back has a buckle fastening. One side of the buckled waist adjuster, has been attached to the opposite to save it.
The back is made of glazed linen/cotton and the inside, a type of linen and cotton homespun weave in blue and white.
The condition is fair-good.
