Antique wax wedding crown and matching bridesmaid's coronet
Wax wedding crown's were the height of fashion in the late 1800s. This particular one dates to the late 1890s. It has a matching bridesmaids coronet. Currently both elements are not fastened into a crown shape and will require some work to make it wearable.
The condition of the coronet is very good. The buds are nice and clean and the wax is in good condition. The crown has a wider decorative band and an additional simple line of wax buds, which matches the bridesmaid's coronet. It is a little careworn with some damage to some of the buds and will require a clean.
This set would be great mannequin decoration, could be re-worked into a wearable crown. It would serve as store display or a photo prop for wedding shoots.
